Soten is still (in my opinion) a grossly under-rated character in Inuyasha. She should be brought in as a regular, she rules! In my fanfic "The Truth About Cats and Dogs", the epilogue is set 10 years on, and this is how I imagine her and Koru to look at that point in time. Which leads me to an interesting point: is Koru a child too? I made him one in my fic, but it's never made clear in the anime. He has a sexually ambiguous, ageless voice, making me unsure if he is even a boy. For the sake of my story, I made him a male child, and this pic is him grown-up too.

I lost the rag drawing Soten's armour, and I realise that I haven't got the back part right, but it never seemed to look right no matter what I did with it. I also think that she looks a little too much like Hiten. If she looks oddly bulky, it's because she wears two layers of armour. I changed her hair a little to give her a more adult look. I also changed Koru's proportions. I can't remember if Koru has a forked tongue or not - no doubt someone will tell me that he doesn't.
